When I was using my computer i have noticed that upon loading windows the system goes idle for few seconds without any HD LED action, I wonder what is happening and i found out after some research and digging i caught some answer.. it was the system, after the windows logo and before loading the stand by screen of the windows it pause for about 30 seconds and it will start loading the stand by screen, icons, task bar, and other system startup programs.

But dont be frown you can adjust this settings not to remove the pause time but to lower it before the complete loading.. But beware messing up OS settings may harm your computer so do this at your own risk, alright?

so here it goes..

  1. Go to Start Menu and click Run
  2. Run Dialog Box will appear
  3. Type in the text box msconfig
  4. In the system configuration Utility box look for Boot.INI tab and click it
  5. Change the number under the timeout (3 sec is the minimum value)
  6. Then click ok, and restart
then woala! your loading time is decrease.
